Workplace Wellbeing · B2B SaaS

From Zero to Launch

Employees Wellbeing launched a timely SaaS product into total silence — zero followers, zero credibility, and a tight 60-day runway to prove it worked. Using just two social channels and a $1,500 ad budget, we helped them acquire 470+ B2B sign-ups and $8,400+ in annual commitments in 90 days.

The Challenge

A brilliant product, launched into total silence

Employees Wellbeing had a timely, genuinely useful product — a SaaS app that sent automated hygiene reminders, distancing nudges, and wellbeing check-ins to remote teams during the peak of COVID-19. But there was one massive problem: absolutely nobody knew it existed.

Six weeks out from launch, the reality was stark. A founder with a working MVP, a small budget, and a looming deadline. No social media presence. No email list. No case studies. No credibility. And a market already flooded with wellness apps and remote team tools competing for the same attention.

Social following sat at zero. There was no content library to draw from. B2B buyer awareness was nonexistent, and the launch budget couldn't stretch to expensive PR or major ad spend — all while needing a first paying customer within 60 to 90 days just to validate the product was worth building at all.

"We built something useful. But we launched into silence. No one knew we existed, and I had no idea how to reach HR managers without a huge ad budget."

— Sheereen Mosallam, Founder, Employees Wellbeing

The Approach

We built a complete social media marketing suite designed specifically for a B2B SaaS launch with a limited budget and no existing audience — and we started six weeks before the product was even fully ready, treating day one of engagement as day one of the launch.

Rather than spreading thin across every platform, we picked two: LinkedIn for direct lead generation to HR managers and team leads, and Twitter/X for thought leadership and community visibility. A structured weekly content cadence mixed problem-focused posts, data points, community questions, behind-the-scenes teasers, and practical tips — building an audience before ever asking for anything.

The real driver wasn't posting, though — it was engagement. We joined HR and remote-work groups and answered questions daily with no pitching, built a curated list of HR influencers to engage thoughtfully with, and sent over 100 personalized connection requests. By launch day, Employees Wellbeing had a warm list of 50+ HR professionals who already knew the product and had given feedback on it directly.

A tightly targeted $1,500 LinkedIn ad budget — aimed precisely at HR managers and people ops leads at 10–200 person companies — brought in 220 sign-ups at just $0.85 per click, with 18 becoming active users within two weeks. Launch week itself followed a deliberate sequence: an announcement, a customer case study, a two-minute demo video, a live Twitter AMA, and a limited-time offer for the first 50 companies — backed by personal outreach to every one of those 50+ warm leads.

A Launch That Kept Working

A Launch That Kept Working

This wasn't a one-off launch push — it was a system built to keep acquiring customers long after the agency stepped back. Reusable content templates, a documented engagement playbook for finding and talking to HR managers on LinkedIn, saved ad audience lists for future retargeting, and a customer advocacy loop that turned every happy new customer into a LinkedIn recommendation.

The results compounded on their own. The first customer came within 14 days of launch, sourced entirely from organic LinkedIn engagement. Product feedback from early users directly shaped features that got built and shipped. The first 10 customers referred 6 more without any incentive. Two angel investors even reached out over LinkedIn DMs after watching the launch momentum unfold in real time.

"Before we launched, I was terrified of crickets. Instead, we had real HR managers signing up, giving feedback, and even referring us to their peers — all from social media. We didn't need a PR firm or a massive ad budget. We just needed the right strategy and consistency."
