This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Nexavative's slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending December 2024.
Nexavative is a digital marketing and IT services agency operating primarily in the United Kingdom. We provide services including digital marketing, web development, IT consultancy, and related professional services. Our supply chain primarily consists of technology providers, freelance professionals, software vendors, and marketing platform providers.
We operate a number of internal policies to ensure we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include our Human Rights Policy, Supplier Code of Conduct, Whistleblowing Policy, and Employee Code of Conduct. All employees complete mandatory training on modern slavery awareness during induction and annually thereafter.
We undertake due diligence on our supply chain to identify and address any risks of modern slavery. Our supplier onboarding process includes screening questions on labour practices, and we require all significant suppliers to confirm their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act. We conduct periodic risk assessments and reserve the right to audit suppliers where concerns arise.
We have assessed the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chain as low, given the nature of our services and our primary operating geography. However, we remain vigilant and continuously improve our due diligence processes. Areas of heightened focus include any offshore technology partnerships and the use of staffing agencies.
We measure the effectiveness of our modern slavery prevention through: completion rates of employee modern slavery training (target: 100%); number of supplier self-assessments completed annually; number of concerns raised and how they were resolved; and review of our supply chain risk assessment annually.
All employees receive training on modern slavery as part of their induction. We provide ongoing awareness training and ensure that those in procurement and HR roles receive enhanced training on identifying the signs of modern slavery and the steps to take if concerns are identified.
This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Nexavative and is signed on behalf of the company by the Chief Executive Officer.
